First visit

At your first visit you are welcomed by the Treatment Co-ordinator Lucy and taken into the consulting room. You will then be given an opportunity to explain your concerns about your teeth. During this visit the Treatment Co-ordinator will ask questions about your teeth and general health and she will introduce you to Ian Davies who will examine and assess your teeth. Following the assessment you will be given an idea of the treatment options available to you and The Treatment Co-ordinator will spend time discussing these options with you. You will also know whether the treatment will be covered by NHS funding or not. If the treatment is outside NHS funding the available private treatment options are discussed with you. The first visit consultation is free but there is a charge for the diagnostic records if the treatment is outside of NHS funding.

We hope at the end of this first visit you will understand fully the treatment options and the process involved so you can come to a decision that is the best for you.

The next stage is to confirm the exact treatment plan and to do this diagnostic records need to be taken and the Treatment Co-Ordinator will organise this for you. The records are radiographs of your teeth moulds of your teeth and photographs of your teeth. Following this visit you will see Ian Davies so the treatment plan can be explained fully to you in order for your consent to be obtained.
